Hydrogen is an advanced drum machine for GNU/Linux and available on Linux/Windows/Mac. The main goal is to bring professional yet simple and intuitive pattern-based drum programming.

The drum machine features a pattern sequencer with unlimited patterns and ability to chain patterns. Capable of handling upto 64 ticks per pattern and 32 instruments with multi layer support. The software has some unique features like unique human velocity, human time, pitch and swing functions.

The website has downloadable drum kits like Roland, Yamaha, Boss etc which could be used to create rock/metal, techno music and even has Indian tabla under the ethnic hiphop drum kit.
